A Google search for my Dad Felton Gamble brought me to the site. Showed three year old Felton sitting on the Hook & Ladder running board. His father was Ogden.
Good find.

Really glad to see your webpage and see my grandfather`s name Easterbrook Reeve listed as one of the original charter members. He lived across the street in the first house on Reeve Ave. and built many of the original houses on the street. Also a charter member of the Baptist church.

I just wanted to thank you for a fabulous 5th birthday party for my son today. It was better than I ever imagined. He had such a great time and I know all of his friends did too. It was a dream come true for him to climb on the trucks, try on the gear, spray the hose, and even get a ride in the firetruck! What more can a little boy ask for?! I can't thank you enough. It was a memorable day for us. All of the firemen who volunteered their time today were so organized, helpful, patient, and kind. Please pass along our thanks to everyone involved today!
Very nice website, You have a lot of great safety tips and more, Keep up the good job.

In the summer of 2012, I had a fire at my house on Elgin Ave. This department was so respectful of my property and my son that I wish to publicly acknowledge you. You removed the windows from my house and then put them back! You saved my son from the fire and took care of him until I could get there. I feel so humble at the care that you took. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

My grandfather, Esterbrook Reeve was one of the original Charter members of the fire company and lived across the street from the fire house. Reeve Ave was named after him and many of the houses on the street and the Church were built by him.

We had my son's 3rd birthday party at the Westmont Firehouse last week and we just want to say thank you for making the party such a huge success! The firefighters that volunteered their time could not have been nicer or more helpful during the party. My son especially loved the ride in the firetruck at the end of the party. Kid parties at the firehouse are really the best kept secret. Thank you again for your time.

Approximately 6 weeks ago my 83 year old mother had taken a fall down the basement steps which ultimately required ambulance service from the Township.
I just wanted to take the time to formally Thank the Westmont Fire Company for the excellent service they provided to our family during this unfortunate incident.
I personally want to thank Chief John Medes for his advice and help with the matter, and the professionalism and bed side manner from EMT Cairns and EMT Devitt during the time they assisted both my Mother, Father and I was nothing short of excellent.
My family was also very happy to see that the EMTs in town were home grown and part of the community.
I request that you please make sure that my thanks is extended to John, Caitlin and Dan for a job very well done.
Nice website, Lots of info for fire safety. Keep up the good work.

To all of Westmont Fire Company,
On behalf of the entire O'Donnell family I would like to say thank you for the amazing tribute that you gave to our nephew, Bryan Howard Griffeth. It has been several months since the sad event and I apologize for the time frame, however we are just now getting to the point of thanking the people who meant the most. Bryan loved his status as a firefighter, and was so proud to serve with his father, grandfather, and his brothers at Haddonfield, as well as Westmont.
The tribute that you gave to him was honorable and worthy of a fireman-which he was in heart and soul, thanks to all of you.
I have such pride in my heart to know all of you-and to know that you supported the love our hearts-Bryan-and that you watch over the people of Haddon Township and surrounding towns.
Thanks, Everyone-we love you.

Dearest Friends,
I just now am able to prose this note to all of Westmont Fire Company for all that you did to honor my son, Bryan Howard Griffeth. Words cannot convey my graditude and appreciation. Even now, I can't even say what I want to say to all of you for what you did for David and me and our families and friends the day of his funeral.
Bryan was so focused and excited for his future as a fireman and I know, had he continued on, he would have been amazing. He grew up with his father, David, passionate about firefighters. When he was given the chance to follow in the footsteps of his Dad and GrandDad, he was estatic. I waited as a Mother for my son to find his passion, the one thing that would drive him to give 100%...firefighting was that inspiration.
I will never forget Westmont Fire Company for what all of you did and if there is anything I can ever do to assist you in the future, working the kitchen or fundraisers, please don't hesitate to contact me. I love you all.
Peggy O'Donnell, Bryan Howard Griffeth's Mother.

I just wanted to take the time and thank all the fireman who have been supporting the public works workers during all this snow and for keeping their bellies full with lots of yummy food. Both you fireman and the public works employees get no rest in times like these, whether it responding to calls in the worst of conditions or being constantly busy keeping the roads clean. As the significant other of a public works employee, it is so nice to know that our community comes together and you all support one another. It is even more heartwarming for me personally to know that my hubby is supported by such wonderful people. Keep up the great work and thank you for being so wonderful!

This evening a duplex house, five homes from where I was visiting, broke out in flames. I was there watching as your fire station and a number of other area fire stations arrived to put out the flames at 205 Emerald Avenue. Thank you for all you and your fellow firefighters do! I'm glad that all of the family members from each side of the duplex were able to get out safely with their animals.

My family and I wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude for all that the Westmont Fire Company did to memorialize our son, T.J. McClintock, Jr. Since he was 3 years old and I brought him to the Cherry Hill Fire Station on Rt. 70 and asked if he could sit atop a fire truck, TJ loved his work and the brotherhood of Firefighters. Even with the dramas that erupted from time to time, he said, "we have to stay focused on what we do!" It was always his first love, "If I die while fighting a fire, please know Ma, I did what I loved doing", were always his words. So I thank Chief Medes and your extraordinary firefighting force for all that you are and do. I would still like to remain connected with your company, so please let me know if there is anything I can ever do, besides buying hoagies, to support you. With love, Billie McClintock & Clan
