Shortly after Lunchtime on Wednesday a heavy snowstorm rolled throughout the region and brought blinding snowfall and heavy winds. Crews responded to over 30 Emergencies throughout the day and early evening. Numerous trees and wires came down due to the weight of the snow in addition to the winds. Three pieces of apparatus and 2 Command vehicles were staffed during the storm to adequately respond and mitigate any hazards. A thank you also goes out to the Haddon Township Department of Public Works and the Haddon Township Police Department for their assistance during the storm.
